Procurement Manager — Remote

As the Procurement Manager at Digital Media Solutions, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be at the forefront of overhauling our procure-to-pay processes. You will be key in optimizing our procurement processes, managing supplier relationships and ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our organization by maximizing efficiency, minimizing costs and maintaining high-quality standards.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive and possess excellent technical skills, with the ability to think analytically while demonstrating the strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with multiple business partners at varying levels of the Company.
Responsibilities & Duties
Strategic Procurement: Work with the executive leadership team to develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that supports our company's objectives
Process Overhaul: Lead the transformation of our procure-to-pay process, emphasizing automation, streamlining and spend controls while maintaining alignment with company culture
Policy Development: Create clear, easy-to-follow procurement policies and procedures that ensure compliance without adding unnecessary complexity
Technology Integration: Collaborate on the selection and implementation of procurement-related technology solutions
Contract Negotiations: Oversee negotiations with suppliers for indirect spend, including IT hardware/software, marketing, facilities and travel
Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and monitor performance to drive cost savings and improve supplier quality
Cost Control: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining the quality and reliability of purchased goods and services
Budget Oversight: Develop and manage procurement budgets, track expenses and report financial metrics to management
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaboration with division leads to optimize procurement processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Reporting: Generate regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess procurement performance and make data-driven decisions
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, accounting, business, finance or project management
- 5+ years of experience in finance and procurement
- Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize based on business strategies and objectives.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business partners
- Highly proficient in various procurement tools, financial systems and Microsoft Office - Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with Netsuite preferred
Experience with Abacus preferred
Experience in SaaS and/or advertising industry preferred
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated annual salary range for individuals interested in this position is $80,000 to $100,000/yr. This position is also eligible for an achievement bonus based on purchasing efficiencies and cost savings as a percentage of the savings the candidate can find. Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
