Luis Ruelas, Co-Founder & EVP

Luis A. Ruelas is the Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Business Development of  Digital Media Solutions, Inc.,  a leading provider of technology-enabled digital performance advertising solutions connecting consumers and advertisers within auto, home, health and life insurance plus a long list of top consumer verticals. A 20-year veteran of and dynamic entrepreneur in the digital marketing space, Luis has broad experience in business development, lead generation and data management services across industries.

After experiencing the challenges and complexities of how businesses handle customer data to achieve their marketing goals, Luis spent decades being a serial entrepreneur re-envisioning the way marketers connect with consumers and creating smart strategies to solve business challenges. Even as a teenager, Luis showed an early interest in entrepreneurship. At the age of 19, Luis launched his first business in New York. Luis cut his teeth in business in the early 2000s running successful startups like Red Fish Media, a full service mobile and digital marketing firm that works with brands such as Ralph Lauren, P&G, Mars Chocolate, Starbucks and DKNY. Luis’ early businesses touched multiple industries from telecom to financial services to consumer goods customer fulfillment centers. Prior to launching DMS, Luis was CEO and Co-Founder of direct response marketing firm Interactive Marketing Solutions where he focused on a broad array of programs and enhanced marketing experiences for the firm’s clients.

His extensive entrepreneurship experience and competitive spirit culminate with his love of family and passion for community. A father of two sons, Luis spends a great deal of time advocating for children with special needs with a particular focus on autism given his son’s condition. An avid philanthropist, Luis has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for charitable programs focused on children and continues to volunteer his time and personal network of high profile leaders in business and entertainment to rally support.
