Champions Keep Playing Until They Get It Right

August 30, 2017 Kathy Bryan
Last week, the Digital Media Solutions (DMS) team convened at the Hilton Midtown in New York City for LeadsCon Connect to Convert. For three days, we strategized with business leaders, rubbed elbows with innovators and sipped coffee as we brainstormed with current and prospective partners.
Throughout our conversations, there were common topics that helped identify performance marketing trends. Here’s our list of what’s hot right now:
  1. Data: Everyone is trying to do more with less, and data helps get the job done. From predictive analysis to data monetization, people were discussing strategies and source options to create greater efficiencies.
  2. Call Center Technology: Advertisers want more inbound calls and are successfully getting them from click-to-call mobile campaigns. Call center technology, to track call origination and lead performance is becoming more essential.
  3. Cross-Channel Attribution: Tracking performance and calculating ROI has always been important for the LeadsCon audience, but the old models seem as though they are no longer good enough. Cross-channel, multi-click attribution utilizing both pre- and post-lead data is finally being recognized as a necessity for proper campaign tracking.
  4. Sports Quotes: As a gold sponsor of LeadsCon Connect to Convert, we had the opportunity to share our brand with attendees. Founded by a team of lifelong athletes, competition is in our blood. Sports inspire us, and we witnessed it do the same for LeadsCon attendees.
