Time and time again, I emphasize the importance of gratitude, an emotion that can literally change our lives for the better.
The practice of gratitude is an elevating emotion.
Practicing gratitude makes us more aware of who we are and helps us function at a higher level, because we are grateful for the people we interact with. Therefore, practicing gratitude helps us accelerate the pursuit of becoming the best versions of ourselves.
When we practice gratitude in the mornings, the act can change our internal feelings and immediately elevate us by helping purge any negative emotions or feelings we may have otherwise started the day with. Negative thoughts and emotions can influence our minds and do a variety of damage, including allowing false stories to take hold and spin up negative thought patterns. Gratitude in the morning acts as a preventer and blocker, priming our pumps with positive emotions which purge the negative.
Gratitude works. Gratitude scales. Gratitude creates a cycle of more gratitude AND positive energy and self awareness.
Practicing gratitude every day helps elevate and amplify our internal positive emotions. As a result, gratitude accelerates our pursuits of the best versions of ourselves.
With gratitude, we become more aware of ourselves. And when we are more aware, we are better equipped to communicate and connect with others.
