Let’s All Give This A Go…
I visited Wynwood Walls in Miami just days before I traveled to Santa Barbara to present alongside leadership activist, entrepreneur, environmentalist, author and world champion surfer Shaun Tomson. I’ve visited Wynwood Walls previously, and I wanted to see Peter Tunney’s art, which uses impactful imagery to make powerful statements.
As Shaun mentioned during last week’s presentation, having a purpose gives us power. I agree with that.
My purpose is tied to my values, and thus my “I will” statements reflect those values.
As we’ve discussed many times before, visualization influences our thoughts, and everything flows from there.
Thoughts > Words > Actions > Outcomes
Shaun and I talked about the impact of thoughts when we were together. “I will” statements are built to create positive thoughts… and from those thoughts, the waterfall flows.
Thoughts Are Influenced By Visual Stimuli & Imagery
There is real science to demonstrate the impact of the environments we spend time in and the things we see daily.
If, around us, we see…
Love
Gratitude
Courage
Fearless
Commitment
…our thoughts will be influenced as a result.
World-Renowned Artist Peter Tunney Is A Visualization Master
His canvases are works of visualization art, designed to influence us to be more. To do good. To have the most amazing thoughts.
Seeing Tunney’s art and then spending time with Shaun all in the same week was amazing. I’ve long known the power of visualization, but the power punch of experiencing two visualization masters in one week took it to another level for me.
Call To Action:
Create visual stimuli in your environment.
Visual stimuli will help you live your values by influencing your thoughts.
Purpose brings us power.
Knowing your code and your values gives you purpose.
I have a copy of the book The Code signed with a simple inscription by Shaun:
Live the Code
I will live my code.
Let’s all give this a go.
