What Does Your 2021 Win Look Like?
The holiday season – and especially during this week and next when the business world slows down – is a great time to plan for the year ahead because you can create the time and space to think about what really matters to and for you.
What Experience Do You Want For Yourself And Your Family During The Holiday Season?
We’re in the thick of the holiday season now. Make sure you stay focused on what matters most, including what the perfect holiday season looks and feels like for you and your family. I encourage you to do everything you can to make each day great as you live the life you want — especially this time of year.
No matter what you believe or what holidays you observe, the holiday season is a time for giving and receiving. Yes, material things come into play as part of this, and the generosity and kindness of material gifts is usually appreciated (especially by kids!). We also take joy in giving gifts. But, the importance of gratitude for the people in your life should be greater than any material gift you give or receive. Remember, giving gratitude is more important than receiving it. Just like with material gifts.
During the next two weeks, try to minimize the noise and distractions. This is the time of the year when we get to slow down, because we deserve the time to relax. This is the time of year when we get to spend the time we need with ourselves and our families connecting and reconnecting. And, as a result of this time, we grow, because we are full of gratitude and joy as a result of our connections.
Take the time to breathe it all in, be present, and enjoy the slow down for what it is. No matter what holidays you observe, maximize your time this holiday season by enjoying the time off that you deserve and doing what makes you and your loved ones happy.
