Strong Intentions & Intense Focus Increase The Propensity Of What We Want
This weekend, I read more of Becoming Supernatural: How Common People Are Doing the Uncommon by Joe Dispenza. Becoming Supernatural discourages the retracing of old thought patterns, because the retracing activity is counterproductive and takes the focus off what is happening today and what is desired for tomorrow.
Instead of spending time and energy trying to change the past – a fruitless pursuit – Becoming Supernatural encourages us to seek out the definition of what I would call “your new future.” I abbreviate this with just “N.” There is actually an exercise in the book where you are guided to define and focus on your N, which increases the propensity of realizing your N. Why? Because you are creating new positive thought patterns in your mind that drive you toward manifestation of your N. It may sound a little crazy (which is why I encourage you to read the book), but there is real scientific data behind the practice of visualization.
When you are focused on your N and you make decisions with respect, integrity, gratitude and love, I believe you can do nothing wrong.
Spend some time thinking about and defining your N. What do you want for yourself, for your family, for your career? And what do you need to do to achieve your N? There is immense power in belief.
