What Does Thanksgiving Mean To You??
Thanksgiving means what we each decide it means to us. We choose.
No matter how you choose to spend it, the day of Thanksgiving itself means what you decide it means to you.
I look at Thanksgiving as a day to give thanks for everything I have accomplished that has gotten me to the table to spend time with my friends and family.
The key to this for me is the transition out of work mode and into family mode. On Wednesday afternoon I start to slow down. Then, Wednesday evening and all day Thursday, I will be relaxed and present with my friends and family.
Being present will help you be the best version of yourself, letting you truly show up for your friends and family.
We have all worked so hard this year. We deserve to relax and savor Thanksgiving. Make sure you find the time to slow down and really enjoy yourself and everything you have accomplished. Those feelings will set you up to be a ray of light for those around you.
This week marks a transition to a special time of year. Thanksgiving weekend is a meaningful time, and for a lot of people, it is also the gateway to the holiday season and end of year celebrations.
This is the time of year we all get to slow down and give thanks.
Remember to give thanks to you for everything you have done and achieved. You matter, and when you truly feel that, it opens up all the possibilities for yourself and everyone around you.
