    3-2-1……. XMAS!

    Published Date January 20, 2022
    Author Joe Marinucci

It’s Almost The Official Christmas Holiday.

No matter what you celebrate, Christmas and New Year’s are recognized throughout much of the world as a time to slow down and spend time with loved ones.

This is an important time of the year for all of us to remember the value in connections and being present.

With All The Events And Activities During This Special Time Of The Year, Sometimes It Feels A Bit Overwhelming… Especially If You Want To Just Relax.

This past weekend, I felt that way. We went to see light shows and Christmas trees. Shuffling around kids and elderly parents was getting tiring… until I realized everyone was actually enjoying their time together. At that moment, it reminded me that nothing is more important than those closest to me, and that it really was special to go see “Sandi,” the Christmas tree made of sand. (Yes, that is real. It’s a Florida thing. A picture of it is to the left.) And if Sandi is what my parents and kids wanted to see on Sunday night, then into the car to see Sandi we go. Let’s check out the Christmas tree made of sand.

There Will Be More Of These Types Of Activities This Week, And I Look Forward To It All.

Even gift wrapping. Because, it’s not really about what we’re doing. It’s about who we’re doing it with. Connections matter, and the quality of your life is definitely impacted by the quality of the people and your connections to those people.

I am grateful for all the people I have in my life, including my kids, my parents and Team DMS.

There Are 2 Weeks Left In The Year.

This week will feel like 3-2-1 and it’s Christmas. Next week, it will be 3-2-1 and we’re done with 2021. Happy New Year!!

During These Last 2 Weeks Of The Year, We Have To Focus On The Balance Needed To Make Sure We Are Getting The Down Time We Need To Connect And Recharge.

At the same time, we must leverage the time we have at work to impact those most important year-end items that allow us to sprint past our finish line and set ourselves up for a tremendous 2022.
