    Recently, Snapchat announced a new certification via it’s Snap Focus education platform. The new certification, Snapchat Ads Manager Campaign Activation, “offers the next level of learning with lessons on developing full-funnel media plans, gaining audience insights, and activating cross-channel measurements,” explains Snapchat. The Snapchat Ads Manager Campaign Activation certification could be beneficial for digital marketers looking to increase their digital expertise and maximize their advertising performance on Snapchat.

    What Is The Snapchat Ads Manager Campaign Activation Certification?

    The Snapchat Ads Manager Campaign Activation certification encompasses five courses, each 30 minutes long, that cover different aspects of how to “launch successful campaigns through Snapchat Ads Manager.” The courses are self-paced and free, offering users the chance to see “relevant industry examples and apply what [they’ve] learned with hands-on, practical exercises.” The topics include:

    • Drive full-funnel results with snapchat
    • Win bids in the auction
    • Reach your audiences
    • Activate cross-channel measurement
    • Launch a split-test campaign

    What Is Snap Focus?

    Snap Focus is the Snapchat platform offering the Ads Manager Campaign Activation certification. Launched a year ago, Snap Focus is Snapchat’s learning portal, providing “courses and certifications” that help marketers “develop the skills [they] need to plan, buy and run effective Snapchat campaigns.” The certifications include E-Commerce Essentials, Apps Essentials and Mobile Games Essentials. Snap Focus also offers different courses for marketers who want to focus on a particular area, like creative best practices or cross-channel measurement.

    Why Is Snapchat Offering Ads Manager Campaign Activation Certification?

    On average, 280 million people use Snapchat every day, and the platform saw 2021 Q1 revenues rise 66% year over year (YOY) to $769.6 million. Over the last several years, Snapchat has rolled out enhancements and new bells and whistles for advertisers, creators and users, particularly its AR lenses and TikTok-like video feature Spotlight. The Ads Manager Campaign Activation certification offers greater insight into how to get the most out of Snapchat’s features and its advertising platform, which is in line with Snapchat’s goals and growth. “We believe firmly in performance-driven advertising, and continue to scale our measurement tools and goal-based bidding capabilities that allow advertisers to optimize for the objectives they are trying to achieve,” said Jeremi Gorman, Chief Business Officer at Snapchat. “We continue to see over half our revenue come from direct response campaigns.”
