At DMS, Mason ensures the company remains compliant with laws and regulations governing advertising practices, consumer privacy and data protection across all product lines. He develops and implements internal and external-facing policies, builds scalable review processes and partners closely with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks.
Before joining DMS, Mason held roles as Global Compliance Manager, Compliance Manager and Compliance Analyst. He also worked in startups within the background screening and corporate investigative/due diligence industries, where he gained experience that helped shape his compliance expertise. Among his notable accomplishments, he developed a knowledgebase for a self-serve SaaS product that searches thousands of global watchlists, sanctions lists and financial debarment lists, a tool now widely used by businesses.
Mason earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Spanish from The University of Georgia and is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
