Job Type: Full-time
Location: Fully Remote
Description
We’re looking for a Senior QA Analyst to safeguard changes across our lead sales bidding models, customer-facing site features and data pipelines.
This role sits directly in the revenue path of the business. You will validate model logic, verify data integrity, execute regression testing, test UI and provide final quality sign-off for production releases in a blue/green deployment environment.
This is not just UI testing — you will validate pricing logic, data movement and system behavior under real-world conditions. You are the final quality checkpoint before traffic shifts.
Compensation Overview: The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $100,000. Actual compensation may vary based on work experience, education, and skill level.
What You'll Do:
- Validate changes to lead bidding models and revenue logic
- Test and verify customer-facing site features across environments
- Confirm data accuracy across transactional systems and ELT/ETL pipelines
- Execute comprehensive regression and edge-case testing
- Validate releases in both blue and green environments prior to cutover
- Review logs, metrics and performance signals post-deployment
- Define and improve QA standards and release criteria
- Provide formal deployment sign-off documentation
Requirements:
Model & Revenue Validation
- Test bid logic, thresholds, routing rules and edge cases
- Validate revenue-impacting calculations and outcomes
- Compare expected vs. actual outputs in staging and production
Data & Pipeline Verification
- Validate data movement and transformations
- Confirm ETL/ELT outputs match source system expectations
- Review schema or integration changes for downstream impact
- Use SQL or query tools to independently verify results
User Interface & Automation
- Develop and maintain automated UI test suites
- Evaluate tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar
- Improve regression coverage for critical site flows
- Validate tracking, attribution and integration behavior
- Execute cross-browser and responsive testing
Process & Risk Management
- Develop structured test plans for high-risk releases
- Identify revenue, compliance and data integrity risks early
- Improve regression coverage and release confidence over time
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of QA experience in technical or data-driven environments
- Experience testing revenue-impacting systems or pricing logic
- Strong understanding of regression, scenario-based and edge-case testing
- Experience validating backend systems and data pipelines
- Solid SQL skills for data validation
- Experience working with staged or blue/green deployment models
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ownership mindset
Nice To Have:
- Experience testing bidding, marketplace or pricing algorithms
- Automation testing experience (Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
- Experience in performance marketing or lead-generation platforms
- Exposure to Kafka or streaming systems
Expectations At Senior Level:
A Senior QA Analyst:
- Owns release quality standards across teams
- Independently assesses deployment risk
- Provides authoritative go/no-go production sign-off
- Anticipates revenue and data integrity risks
- Improves QA processes and regression coverage over time
What Success Looks Like:
- Revenue-impacting defects are caught before production
- Model releases behave as expected under real traffic
- Blue/green cutovers occur without incident
- Data discrepancies are identified early
- Engineering teams trust QA as a risk partner
Benefits Available To Eligible Employees Include The Following:
- Medical, dental, vision insurance
- Wellness and mental health benefits
- Tax-Advantaged healthcare accounts
- Financial and income protection benefits (life insurance, short-term disability, 401(k)
