My neighbor’s yard had that nice, sharp green grass. Perfectly cut.
I could see the pattern across it. It looked like a baseball outfield.
My grass? Holes from my dogs digging. Brown, dead grass spots. Ripped in areas from my dogs turning it into a race track.
I turned envy into action… seeding, fertilizing, sodding, watering… Now my grass is BOOMING this spring. It’s even sustaining the wear and tear from my dogs.
Why am I telling you this story? It reminded me of a saying that applies to us right now:
The grass is always greener where you water it.
Opportunities require attention, nurturing, teamwork, collaboration and execution.
We control where we invest our time, energy and focus. What we choose to water will develop, progress and grow.
