Digital Media Solutions Completes 3rd Annual Season Of Giving

Clearwater, FL – November 28, 2017Digital Media Solutions (DMS), an industry leader in providing end-to-end customer acquisition solutions that help clients win in their business ventures and realize their marketing goals, is pleased to announce that it has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. The company’s signature annual community engagement program, DMSeason of Giving, allows each office across North America to collect nonperishable goods to donate to food banks and also raises money to purchase holiday gifts for children in the foster care system. For the third year in a row, DMS is partnering with the Guardian ad Litem Foundation of Tampa Bay and Eckerd Connects to fulfill holiday wish lists for children in foster care via its largest financial donation in DMS history.

DMS begins each DMSeason of Giving by collecting nonperishable goods to donate to local food banks in Clearwater, FL; Philadelphia, PA; Paramus, NJ; Lehi, UT; Boca, FL; Miami, FL and Toronto, Canada, from October through the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. This year the company donated nearly six thousand pounds of items to food banks that serve families and individuals.

Earlier this year, members of the company’s Philadelphia, PA team completed the 2017 City to Shore bike ride to benefit those affected by MS. In September DMS sponsored the 6th Annual Scholarship Golf Outing hosted by the Empower Scholarship Fund, formerly The DeVry Education Group Scholarship Fund, which is a 501(c)(3) charity that strives to keep education within reach by providing scholarship support to continuing students. In 2016, the DMS team organized and hosted a number of community events—including winning Race Across America (RAAM) for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital—collecting more than $100,000 in charitable contributions across multiple non-profits in the Clearwater, FL area and beyond. The company also contributes monthly to the Wounded Warrior Project in an effort to support military veterans.

Occurring this year on November 28, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.), and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
