    3. 1:11 On 1/11…

    1:11 On 1/11…

    Published Date January 11, 2021
    Author Joe Marinucci

    It’s 1:11 on January 11th. Make a wish!

You weren’t expecting that from me?

Believe it or not, I used to believe there were good days and times and bad days and times. 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55 and so on – am or pm – signaled something good would come about. Dates like 1/11 or 2/22 did the same.

On the other hand, anything with a 13 could signal the potential for something negative. Times like 11:13 and 12:13 and the 13th of the month could be ominous. And then on Friday the 13th, I would be extra careful.

Beliefs About Good & Bad Days & Times Didn’t Serve Me.

I had to change my beliefs.

I realized that superstitions are just that. They were allowing my own thoughts and emotions to control me. While the “right” times and dates gave me power, confidence and positive energy, the “wrong” times and dates caused me to conjure emotions of fear, doubt and negative energy (bad luck).

On good luck days, I felt positive and lucky. I got stuff done, accomplished goals, made progress and, thus, felt powerful and certain.

Conversely, on bad luck days, I felt unlucky. I was walking on eggshells at times, allowing a cloud to follow me around. This wasn’t a real cloud, of course — it was self-induced. All the same, it caused me to drag, feel fear and doubt, and accomplish less.

This was a silly game that was all in my head. Times and dates are a reminder of where we are in the present. Nothing more. There is no particular good or bad luck that comes from any specific time or date.

I Came Up With A New Game.

Now, dates and times are simply reminders.

There is no luck – good or bad – assigned to specific dates or times, whether they end in 11s, 13s or any other number.

When I see the dates that used to trigger feelings of good or bad luck, I now use them as simple reminders for the gratitude I have for where I am in life and for everything I have, including my family, friends and co-workers. Instead of thinking about luck, I think about someone I’m grateful for and about something that person has done that I appreciate. In doing this, I amplify my positive energy and elevate myself, letting myself move forward with power and certainty.

We All Have The Ability To Decide How We Experience Life.

Yes, there are triggers everywhere that can influence us. How you handle those triggers is everything. We control our emotions and how we experience life.

Times & Dates Used To Hold Power Over Me. Not Anymore.

I now use times and dates to empower me to feel gratitude. As a result, I’m more productive.

I encourage you all to dispense with superstitions and triggers that don’t serve, and replace them with habits that empower you with positive energy.

Think about whether or not you have a trigger that has the power to derail you. If you do, work to interrupt the pattern of negativity and turn that trigger into a habit or routine that is positive and empowers you.

    Remember, you are in control.
