DMS is looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented, and highly experienced in the Insurance Industry or equivalent Inside Sales Representative. In this dynamic role, you'll be tasked with identifying and enrolling new customers (insurance agents) through an outbound phone-based selling to an existing, discrete prospect list, supporting the growth and development of our Insurance Division. (DMSI)
Compensation:
The starting hourly rate for individuals expressing interest in this position is between $20 - $30 an hour, plus performance-based uncapped commission. Potential Is limitless!
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Research new prospects, identify key decision-makers at insurance agencies, and generate interest in DMS’s insurance lead products.
- Source new sales opportunities through a combination of outbound cold calling, emailing and follow-up to inbound leads.
- Identify qualified opportunities to develop and close, so they may be supported by the customer success team after a sale is completed.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales quotas on a consistent basis.
- Understand customer needs and requirements, overcome objections and vet opportunities to determine alignment with DMS’s insurance platforms.
- Maintain and progress a sales pipeline of prospects that aligns with DMSI revenue growth.
- Maintain knowledge of current insurance market conditions, including target audience and competition.
Requirements
- Significant outbound cold calling experience IS A MUST.
- 3+ years of inside sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quotas
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite--Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
- Proficient in a pipeline management system and integrated dialer platform–Salesforce or similar.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors.
Preferred:
- Experience working in the insurance industry or insurance online lead generation.
- Previous experience working with Salesforce.
- Experience with over-the-phone verbal communication during cold calls and writing cold business emails.
- Strong phone presence and experience conducting a high volume (100+/day) of outbound cold calls.
- Knowledge of corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of effectively managing and reporting on individual sales pipeline in order to hit monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
